Privacy Policy

When you are a course participant with us, your information is stored in our eKurs system for as long as necessary for Medis to administer the courses or as long as we are legally or contractually required to retain it. After that, it is anonymised according to our current procedures. We do not delete personal data when there is a legal requirement to store it. We use anonymised information for statistical purposes and course development.

If you wish to have your information anonymised earlier—for example, after you have completed and paid for your most recent course, have no outstanding invoices, and no upcoming course registrations—you should contact the Medis office.

The Citizens’ Institute in Mariehamn processes personal data in accordance with the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679. These rules are known as the General Data Protection Regulation, more commonly referred to by its English abbreviation, GDPR.
